As an apprentice in 1966 Andrew Kennedy worked on a number of city buildings and gained the grounding in construction that would later lead to his being responsible for refurbishment of a number of city buildings and many new constructions.

Commercial projects range from small shopping centres to churches, warehouses and home unit blocks.

Andrew has an enviable reputation, as one of today's leading builders in the Brisbane/Gold Coast region, which he credits to an early grounding in correct methodology in construction.

To best showcase past projects we have included one "case history" in this section.

Case History #1

In May 2009, Andrew Kennedy Constructions commercial division was approached by CMC, a company planning to move it s headquarters to Brisbane to cope with it's rapid growth in Civil Infrastructure contracting.
The challenge, set by Managing Director Peter Kendall, was to turn an old factory/work shop building into a modern office that reflected the success and the appropriate image of the company.

The facade change (see the before and after pictures on this page) is quite dramatic and displays the talents of our team in both design and construction.

The improvements did not stop at the new facade, as the interior pictures in our gallery boast. The building is complete with a new dramatic reception area & boardroom complete with concealed data cabling for multi-media presentations.
